Weekly Magazine | Encourage Like Jesus
Your weekly magazine is here—real stories, real faith, real encouragement. Just for you!
Dear Friends,
Have you ever felt the power of a word spoken at just the right moment? A simple sentence, a smile, or a note that seemed to arrive just when your heart needed it most? That’s encouragement—and when it flows from the heart of Jesus through us, it has the power to restore, uplift, and transform lives.
This week, we’re exploring what it means to encourage others like Jesus did. From the woman at the well to the bleeding woman, Jesus consistently offered words and actions that restored dignity, offered grace, and pointed others to hope. He didn’t try to fix everyone’s problems; He simply met them where they were, spoke truth in love, and reminded them of God’s presence and promises.
As we read the stories and reflections in this issue, I hope you’ll be inspired to see your daily interactions as opportunities to encourage others. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, a coworker, or even a stranger, your words and actions can plant seeds of hope, joy, and restoration—just as Jesus did.
Let’s step into this week with intentional hearts, ready to encourage, uplift, and mirror Christ’s love in everything we do.

Did you ever have someone who encouraged you so much, exactly when you seemed to need it, that their encouragement felt almost like Jesus Himself was there with you?
I had this experience once, with a boss I had many years ago, and yet the memory of her kindness is still so strong that it feels like it was a permanent balm on my heart. I was interviewing for a job I really wasn’t qualified for (the first miracle was that I got that job!) and the woman that hired me walked me to my car after our interview and, as I got into the car, called after me, “You’re terrific!”
What? I had never been told that in an interview before. Especially not with someone yelling it out loud in a parking lot!
