Dear Friend,

Have you ever felt a little awkward talking about your faith? Me too.

Many of us worry about saying the wrong thing, being rejected, or sounding too “churchy.” But what if sharing your faith wasn’t about perfect words—but about showing up honestly and lovingly, right where you are?

Sometimes, sharing the Good News looks like listening well. Sometimes it’s an invitation to your kitchen table. Sometimes it’s your story—messy and beautiful—that helps someone else see God more clearly.

You don’t need a degree or a pulpit to be a witness. Just a willing heart.

This week, we’re diving into the everyday ways we can live out our faith—without pressure, fear, or performance. So let’s lean in together. Let’s pray for courage, speak when the Spirit prompts, and trust that God will do more than we can imagine—through ordinary people like you and me.

Faith Talks | Ronnie Wendt
A father’s quiet persistence, faithful prayers, and handcrafted cross helps pave the way for a daughter’s faith. This story reminds us that sharing our faith is about offering the invitation and trusting God to move hearts. Small, consistent acts of love can shine brightly and lead others home.

Talking About Jesus Your Way

God uses your personality, your story, and your everyday moments to reach others.

By: Cherie Burbach

When I was younger, I thought evangelism was for pastors or people who were really great at public speaking. I didn’t often think about the moments I’d been given opportunities to share my own story about how God had healed me. And when I thought about “preaching the gospel,” I would inwardly cringe.

We’ve all seen examples of people preaching at others in ways that feel more like judgment than love. It’s no wonder evangelism makes some of us nervous.

But here's the good news: evangelism isn’t about performance. It’s about participation—participating in what God is already doing.
